Your Android phone, on your Mac.

Two apps. One local connection.

The phone and the Mac talk to each other directly over your network. There's no server in the middle and nothing to sign in to.

After you pair, each device remembers the other's certificate and refuses any device that presents a different one. There's no unencrypted fallback.

The small stuff, handled.

Reply from your Mac

When a notification offers a reply, answer it from the keyboard. The reply goes back through the phone.

Clipboard, both ways

Copy on the Mac and the phone offers it with one tap. Copy on the phone while Sidekick is open, paste on the Mac.

See who's calling

Incoming calls show in Sidekick's Calls view on your Mac, and you can dial from the Mac's keypad. You talk on the phone.

Photos, saved to your Mac

Browse your phone's albums on the Mac, preview photos, play videos and choose Save to Mac. No cable, no upload.

A remote for what's playing

Pause, skip and change the volume of music on your phone from the Mac.

Ask the phone to open an app

Pick an app on the Mac and the phone shows a notification. Tap it and the app opens — Android doesn't let apps launch others silently. Sidekick's notifications must be allowed on the phone.

Honest by design.

Some limits come from Android or your network, not from Sidekick. Here they are up front. When one applies, the app says so in a sentence instead of showing a blank screen.

What we're building next.

Sidekick keeps growing. This is the direction — plans can change, and nothing here is promised until it ships.
